Awareness
The state or ability to perceive, feel, or be conscious of events, objects, or sensory patterns. In a spiritual context, it often refers to a heightened state of consciousness, understanding the true nature of reality and oneself.
Liberation (Moksha/Nirvana)
The ultimate goal in many spiritual traditions, signifying freedom from the cycle of birth and death (samsara) and from suffering. It is a state of profound peace, wisdom, and spiritual realization.
Spiritual Awakening
A profound shift in consciousness where one begins to question their established beliefs and values, leading to a deeper understanding of existence, self, and the universe. It's often characterized by a sense of interconnectedness.
Non-duality (Advaita)
The philosophical concept that reality is ultimately one and indivisible, without any fundamental distinction between mind and matter, self and not-self, or spirit and the material world. It suggests that the perceived separation is an illusion.
Self-Realization
The fulfillment of one's potential, especially the realization of one's true nature. In spiritual contexts, it means understanding and embodying the divine or true self, beyond the ego or personality.
Transcendence
The state of existing beyond the physical or material world. It often involves rising above limitations, desires, and the ego to achieve a higher state of consciousness or spiritual understanding.
